Owner and CEO of Coastal Security, Brian Bodine, holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Troy State University in Police Administration, Criminal Investigation, and Sociology. Brian has 32 plus years of experience in the Public Safety field serving as Director of Public Safety, Police and Fire Chief in four cities. He has also been an adjunct instructor for Faulkner Community College, The University of Alabama, Law Enforcement Academy, and the Alabama State Fire College, as well as a course proctor for Columbia Southern University. He has done numerous training sessions over the years for local, state and federal agencies throughout the Southeast on such subjects as management leadership and supervision, and incident command. Brian brings this vast experience to the private security business where he strives to utilize innovation, technology, and high standards to create and maintain a truly professional security service.

Ron Cope, Operations Manager - Ron Cope brings over 40 years of leadership and
management experience to Coastal Security. Ron is a Vietnam Veteran having
served in special operations roles where his leadership skills were honed. In
the business world he spent most of his career in the construction field
reaching the position of Vice President of Fullerton Industries a large
manufactured commercial building company located in Minnesota. Ron came south a
number of years ago and over saw the construction of many of the Arbys and Ruby
Tuesdays in Alabama and Northwest Florida. Upon retirement from his construction
career he started his own solar enrgy company in Pensacola closing it to join
Coastal shortly after Hurricane Ivan. His experience and organizational skills
have added much to the Coastal management team.

MItzi Kelley, Beach Club Operations Manager - Mitzi joined the company in 2004. She has worked every job and post in the company since then. She is always willing to step forward to see that the job is done. Mitzi and her husband Talmadge owned and operated several business' over a 30 years including a large auto parts and salvage business in Montgomery Alabama as well as one of the largest and most successfull Greyhound racing kennels in the southeast. Mitzi brings a quick smile and uncanny ability to motivate and get along with people to her position as operations manager.

Mike Stanley, Chief Guard Supervisor - Chief Guard Mike Stanley brings a lifetime of
security related experience to the job. He spent 19 years with the West Virginia
Department of Corrections starting as a Corrections Officer and Rising to the
Rank of Lieutenant. At the same time he was serving as a military police officer
in a national guard unit called to duty during the first Gulf War. His unit was
in charge of the security and safety of Prisoners of War. On return from Iraq
Mike retired and moved to Fairhope where he now resides. Soon after retirement
he went to work in the local security business working with every company and
nearly every property along the beach. He joined Coastal in 1997 becoming part
of the management team as Chief Guard in 2005.

James McCrory, Operations Manager- James A "Jim" McCrory came to work with Coastal Security in 2003 first as a part-time officer and later on a full-time basis. He has worked almost every property along the beach serving as a "Lead Guard" on several.. Jim spent 22 years in the banking business serving in a number of management and supervisory roles. His last 5 years prior to retirement was spent in white collar crime investigations, putting him in close working contact with many local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in the region. His experience and background more than qualifies him to serve as one of our lead supervisors and part of the management team.

Leigh Bodine, Executive Assistant- Leigh Bodine brings a varied business and
resort background to the management team. Leigh worked a number of years in
retail sales developing her wonderful gift of dealing with people. She operated
and managed a local answering service that specialized in service to the beach
resort community. Immediately prior to coming on board with Coastal she worked
with a large beach property rental company as a reservationist. Since coming to
Coastal she has worked as a guard, handled complaints and done scheduling. She
now oversees the operation of the office and coordinates her efforts with the
other members of the management team to ensure the business of the company is
carried out.
